What is the source of the savannah river? |
Travel Info What is the source of the savannah river? Travel Tips Looking this question up, there are several sources for the Savannah river. The northern boundary of the river are the Chattooga River and Tugaloo river. These would be considered the primary tributaries, or sources. There are a number of other sources along the way though. Several man-made lakes have been "built" along the river as well. Though not a source, they do control the flow of the water. The guy above who said it is from the Okefenokee Swamp is a moron. The swamp is in south Georgia and north Florida, and is no where near Savannah or the river. The Savannah river forms most of the border of Georgia/South Carolina (northern area).
