Is Georgia a good place to retire?

Travel Tips
Yes ... Its beautiful. I used to live on Tybee Island off of Savannah and it was so beautiful and the cost of living is decent. The people are friendly.

Georgia, USA or the Republic of Georgia?????
I am assuming you are thinking the USA georgia. I live in South Dakota and I plan on living here the rest of my life. Lots to do here. I live near lewis and clark recreation areas. Which is right off of the Missouri river. I am not to familier with Georgia so not much help on that. But if you are looking for a place with lots of things to do and see South Dakota is the place. Well unless of course you dont like snow.
It would depend on what you were looking for when you retire.
I would stay away from the Atlanta area. I moved here a few months ago and am not happy so far. There really is no 'southern hospitality' here and I'm surprised I haven't gotten killed on the road yet! I'm not sure about southern Georgia, I hear it's nice. Good Luck.
