Travel Info Going to Hotlanta for the weekend (Final Four weekend), where do we go to kick it? We want to here some R&B, Hip Hop and/or Neo Soul-mostly we want to be around Black people. Travel Tips The closest area to party from the game will be Underground Atlanta. There are several bars/clubs down there, and plenty of hip hop. It can be a little hokie at times, but with the Final Four there, I think they should be prepared for the crowd they will be getting. Midtown has a lot of clubs too. Try Crescent Ave down there. Everywhere will be in top form for the games, and you will not have to worry about finding hip hom music. Try the Nomenclature Musem (not actually a museum), you should enjoy everything in the area. Buckhead is the furthest off. It is also crazy after the games. You will find plenty of music, plenty of Black people (as well as white, hispanic, and all others... it is just plain crowded). May I recomend something for all the places you go, as well as the game. Take MARTA. In general, MARTA sucks. It does not have enough coverage. For big events like this, it is great. Cops will be everywhere, and traffic is horrible for literally miles. Take MARTA, you can party, drink, have fun, and not worry about any of that BS. Enjoy yourself, it should be fun. Others Atlanta is so amazing, you just have to find the right places to go. I would look up Atlanta.com and see what they have to offer. I am sure that there are tons of things to do there. I have been there a few times but I went with family so my clubbing experience was limited. I would definately stay downtown that way you will be close to all clubs and nightlife. Go to underground Atlanta. Everything is underground, and they have tons of rap clubs, and R&B.
