Why can't you walk one block in atlanta without being asked for money by a panhandler? |
Travel Info Why can't you walk one block in atlanta without being asked for money by a panhandler? Travel Tips We have one of the highest homeless rates there is in the US of A Help them out. When they have nowhere to go you can tell, there realy down on their luck Source(s): A georgia peech born and raised in Druid hills, ya gotta LOVE IT! Other Travel Tips It is the same way in San Fransico too. There are panhandlers at every corner, and store front. Its the "panhandling city of america" thats why... you are walking the wrong blocks. Go over to Vine Street and The Vine street American Legion and walk a block and if you are still alive at the end, remember You asked for it. Its just the way it is. I went to Georgia Tech, and know exactly what you are talking about. And the people panhandling are not just asking, they are pushy and rude about it. But go to any major city, they all are the same. Its just in some places they actually try working for it, like washing car windows or singing. Here they just ask you for money and scoff when you say you don't have any for them. Gotta just deal... It's the same in downtown Portland, Oregon. |
