Yes I visit there in the Jackson area in 2005 and Granada area my husband is from both these areas, I notice that the houses were $650.00 a month your nice three and four bedrooms homes. I was amazed at these prices.

On the average, yes. HOWEVER do not go to the areas damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The housing market was wiped out during this storm and housing sales and rentals have skyrocketed.
