Other Travel Tips Atlanta is hot humid, no water, crowded and trafic and public transport is a nitemare! cRIME IS OFF THE HOOK. NC has better taxes, is a green state. lots of lakes and Charlotte is great cause you can lice in SC where taxes are LOW, housing is very reasonable and still work and play in Charlotte. neither, I can't stand those hillbilly southern accents!!! i'd live in Charlotte because i'm a NC girl and it's TOO expensive to live in ATL because everybody wants to go there. Spartan , SC. - Just south of Charlotte is a great mid-sized town without all the murder and mayham.It's a town of good neighborhoods and parks with a good school system and a good police department.
