Where in ATL should me and my 3 kids live? |
Travel Info I am a younger almost divorced mom of 3 (daycare and elementary ages)....I do NOT party etc and never have anyone come to my house (so those aren't issues). I have been told traffic is what is hated most in ATL.....where can you guys/girls recommend me live? I want a decent backyard but obviously really close to ATL (15-20 mins)......I work from home so that is not an issue either.....PS> I am white with mixed children (they look black) just want to add that in in case it factors in.............THANKS Travel Tips Cobb County great schools three nmajor malls lots of shopping areas Chattachochee river parks and trails 15-20 mins into town most of it pretty safe resturants lots of stuff to do with kids Others 15-20 minutes from Atlanta, I would say on the west side might be your best like douglasville or villarica, something of 1-20. Stone mountain is ok! Decatur is ok too. Somewhere on the southside or westside would be ideal for you and your kids. I love Mid town big houses and yards and quaint yet in the city. race isn't the issue in ATL. also check around little five points and the virginia highlands area. very good neighborhoods. yards and families. why are you divorced ??? divorce is 4 quiters. Marietta. The west cobb county area is growing by leaps and bounds. Your kids will be happy in the schools there. I grew up in east cobb county, very snobby area, high cost of housing. You will like the cobb county school system and will meet nice people in west cobb. Smyrna,Ga its has a country like setting a multicultural Pop ans is so close to downtown you could almost throw a rock Gambler a little farther out in Kennesaw |
