Travel Info My cousin and I were recently discussing living in atlanta, and we were saying how boring it really is. Both of us are from the north DC/NYC, and while atlanta maybe less in the living cost; its just flat out boring. I've gotten used to the clubs and all, but beyond that I don't really see anything that's all that. Its hard finding a job paying anything worthwile; and the men well please! Do I need to go there. lol. After school am thinking of going back to NYC or even DC (the real black mecca) lol. Someone told me once if your young and wanna party go to atlanta, but if you wanna be a professional go to NY. Anyone feel the way I do Atl ain't all that!! Travel Tips I recently moved here from Mississippi. I have to agree with you. Unless you have a lot of money to spend or have deep roots here, this place is boring. People are not friendly at all. The men and the lack of jobs, I definitely know what you mean. While it is called the "Black Mecca", there is alot of racism here, especially around Metro Atlanta. In downtown Atlanta they have Underground Atlanta and it's really cool. And I'm pretty sure they'll have a few clubs there. Plus we have the biggest aquariun in the WORLD. And we have the largest peace of leftover granite in the WORLD(aka. Stone Mountain). It's a really cool place. Maybe you should come down for a visit(They also have a Six Flags here). |
