I always stay at the Hyatt Family Suites in Smyrna. It's out of the busier traffic and it's a newly renovated place. The rooms are nice and they also serve breakfast. It is also close to restaurants and shopping malls.

A Clean "***" fortable room Motel Six.
Bestwestern on Peachtree Road by the Atlanta airport. It's not a busy road b/c there is a bypass to the airport. It is affordable and they have a pool, spa, and gym. The staff is also very friendly. We stayed their for $70 a night. The rooms were big and comfortable.
