Travel Info Know of any nice hotels on the beach in Charleston, SC? affordable but nice? Travel Tips There are no hotels that are in Charleston proper that are on the beach. You would have to stay in North Charleston. If you want the city, try a bed and breakfast. None are cheap really but the location is really what matters. Probably 150-175/night is the going rate. If you go to North Charleston, which is about 3 miles away, it will still be about 150 for some place next to the water. Sorry if this sounds high but Charleston is one pricey place. If you are desperate try the Holiday Inn, Foley Beach (just south of Charleston about 10 miles)...there aren't many beach hotels around the area. |
