Are you from Georgia? |
Travel Info Camden County maybe? I'm looking to move there, and want to hear all about the good the bad, etc. Travel Tips I am from Georgia....Liberty County which is not that far from Camden. I live in Atlanta now because I went to college here and stayed after I graduated. There is a lot more to do in Atlanta then in Camden because Camden is a smaller town. Pretty much anywhere outside of the atlanta metro area is smaller. If you are older and are trying to raise a family or will be soon I would suggest going for Camden County. If you like having things to do on the weekend the Atlanta are a is for you. You can move to the suburbs and find an affordable house and then you are within driving distance of all the fun things that atlanta has to offer. Source(s): Lived in Georgia for 18 years... Other Travel Tips No I am not from Georgia no NO no im not, sorry!!! good luck I am, but I don't know where Camden County is. Are you thinking of moving here because of a job? What sort of work do you do? I have lived in north GA. I now live in central GA. My best friend lives in south GA. Don't move to north GA unless you will not have a problem with a 30min-1 hour commute each morning. The temp there is 5-10 degrees cooler, sure, but once it gets SO hot, what does it matter. You will have to get used to the humidity and the VERY high pollen counts. Georgia has lower ales taxes and such, but they get you in other ways. EVERY year that I have lived here, I have had to pay State taxes (even when I didn't owe the IRS a thing). They also get you with car registration fees, which are based on the value of your car. Jobs are plentiful in certain industries. Most people are as nice to you as you are to them. However, I have found that central GA contains a higher percentage of rude people. |
