Which is the nicest place to live outside of Atlanta; Marietta, Roswell; Alpharetta, others? |
Travel Info -Housing -Traffic -safety -Scenery -Restaurants -Schools Travel Tips I used to live in Smyrna... it's pretty kick ***. housing was awsome, traffic wasn't bad, i never felt un-safe at all, and scenery was beautiful. Others Marietta is the nicest place. My advice would be to move to southern missouri or south east kansas marietta, kennesaw, smyrna love em all Not to be rude, but I, too, will be relocating to the Atlanta area and my office is located in Decatur. However, important for me is family living (4 kids, aged 10-16) with good schools, neighborhood and affordable homes ($150-200k). How long of a commute from say, Kennesaw (or thereabout in that area), to Decatur, anyone know? Good Schools? Safe neighborhood?? Or, how about Fayetteville?? What is the commute from there to decatur? Thanks..... Hmm...well all of those are pretty bad if you are going to be commuting to Decatur. Gwinnett County may be your best bet since traffic is bad. Duluth, Lawrenceville, Lilburn, and Snellville may be better bets if commute is a huge issue. Alpharetta is probably the nicest of the three but Roswell and Marietta are nice as well. 150K to 200K is somewhat hard to come by in Alpharetta but you can find houses in that range in Roswell and Marietta |
