Which county is better: Cobb or Gwinnett? |
Travel Info I'm moving to Atlanta soon, and my sister and I would like to know which counties are better as far as jobs, schools, culture, and diversity.... Travel Tips I say Gwinnett. I have always lived here so I love it. When I watch the news I here more bad stuff about Cobb than most anywhere else in metro Atlanta. There is alway someone getting shot or robbed out that way. Now Gwinnett has it problems areas too. Try citysearch.com look around and see if you can find anything to help you. Others Gwinnett is more diverse, more Asians, more Hispanics. Cobb homes are little more expensive. I believe the Cobb schools are a little better rated, but they are both good. Both are large urban counties and both have their good and bad neighborhoods, however I would say that you have to be alittle more careful with your choice of neighborhoods in Gwinnett. Cobb. it does have severe weather every now and them but my aunt teaches and lives there and it is REALLY nice!! trust me. my aunt Theres way more jobs and way better education in Cobb, also when your bored theres more stuff to do in gwinett Cobb is better everything compared to Gwinnett Kinda of a tough question to answer. Gwinnett is a larger, more diverse county but Cobb is a little bit more established. So go look at a map.... I would call them equal...but not all of the areas within the county are equal. So in Gwinnett county...the area west of I-85, and north of HWY120 is the nicest area of the county. In Cobb, the area east of I-75, and south of HWY-92 is the most affluent area of the county. Both counties have a growing Hispanic and Asian community and both counties have good solid schools county wide. The only possible sketch areas of the two counties would be "south cobb" and/or the jimmy carter area Gwinnett |
