What is the most diverse/open minded/ modern town in Alabama.?

i always wanted to move out of alabama but i love our weather and was wondering what city would be great. i would like someoplace that is new and keeps up with what is going on in the world.
i consider myself to be eclectic and very fresh on what is new in the world, so although alabama may seem far from this , i know there has got to be some place here like this.

try huntsville. it is very diverse because of the space program there and is very high tech. lots of jobs
