Best areas to live in around Marietta Georgia? |
Travel Info I am looking to find a nice, safe, family-friendly area in or close to the Marietta area. I would like an area with great schools for my child. I want an area that is close to Life Chiropractic school. I am moving from Birmingham AL. Any advice will be great. Thanks, in advance. Travel Tips actually, east Cobb is the nicest and most affluent area in Cobb co. i live in adairsville in north bartow, about 30 miles to the north. i just don't want to be in a really heavily populated area. but if you want to be near everything, try east Cobb. Others Smyrna, Austell, Kennesaw, or Sandy Springs I live in ATL North Marietta near Woodstock is nice... The area near Lassiter High School is a good area. I would stay away from Delk Road, Fairground Rd, Roswell Road. Stay in Marietta. There are some nice areas in the 30062, 30067, 30064 and 30060 areas. This will keep you closest to life. Also try smyrna 30080, 30082. and Austell (not sure of zip) certain parts may be close, possibly Mableton but thats getting a little farther away (still close 15-20 miles) You can search by city or zip on website: http://barnesyoung.idxre.com/idx/search.... I would stick to schools in East Cobb. I know you can do a search for homes by school if you go to www.atlantagahomes.com It's a very cool tool to find homes in a particular school district. Zip Codes 30062 or 30067 are your best bet! Good Luck. |
