Around atlanta Ga....Braves game? |
Travel Info im leaving so IL at 12am on aug 2nd i will get to atlanta around 8 or so right? and the game im going 2 isnt till the 4th wat can i do till then? an i was wondering if there was any camp grounds around i want 2 go campin then also... and does anyone know anything bout turner field like how early can i get it wat can i bring in... any help would be good thanks alot! Travel Tips You can take a tour of Turner Field (check times for it on the Braves website www.atlantabraves.com). You can actually enter the seating area (gates open) 2 hours before the game. The outer part will be open like the ticket windows, museum area before that. It depends what you like to do... we have the Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta & Cyclorama, Atlanta History Center, Margaret Mitchell House (she wrote Gone With The Wind), World of Coca Cola, Underground Atlanta, and the list could go on & on... I suggest if you want to go camping looking at websites for Lake Lanier (they have campsites i think for $25 fee), or in North Georgia (Eastern corner) area like in Habersham County, maybe even in the North Georgia mountains... Have a fun trip & enjoy the Braves game.... Others you have come to the right place as for turner field the food is $$ but good you can arrive about a 1 1/2 before first pitch Teeshirts are goiven away and you might get to see a brave as for Campgrounds well I always camp away fron Atl so I don't have info on that I could show you some good Campgrounds around the Lake Alatoona but is a good Hour to turner field Gambler I will be doing the same thing, leaving from Chicago at 12am on June 22. My buddies and I are also going to a Braves game. You can check out the Atlanta Braves website for some info about the ballpark! Have a fun trip!! http://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/atl/ballpa... There are some camp sites around but I do not know where the closest one is to The Ted.. You can do anything around Atlanta like visiting the new world of coke. It is not far from the stadium. You can tour the CNN Center. There is alot of things to do in Atlanta. I live in Atlanta |
