Travel Info Does anyone know of any really good clubs,sports bars or restaurants in ALT,GA.? Travel Tips clubs - i don't go...what type of music? 112, compound, verve? sports bars - ESPN zone-buckhead/peachtree, Fox sports grill-atlantic station, Dave and busters -marietta, gwinett resturant/bars - strip, twist, shout, Two Urban Licks resturants/$$$ - dante's down the hatch (fondue, very unique and $$$) Houston's (6 locations, steak american ) the resturant at ritz carlton resturants/$$ cheesecake factory (4 locations) mary mac's (soul food) benihana's (japanese, hibatchi) Atlanta Fish Market (duh) Ray's in the City (seafood) resturants/$ speghetti factory (duh) chow baby (noodles/stir fry) Thai Palate Others 2 good sports bars are - ESPN Zone in Buckhead and the Fox Sports Grill at Atlantic Station. There are a ton of great restaurants in Atlanta, it really depends what kind of food & what price range you are looking for. Six Feet Under is a really good restaurant. Not a club, but great food and lots of beer on tap. They are on Memorial Drive across from Oakwood Cemetary (hence the name). They just opened another location on 11th I think, but I'm not sure where exactly. www.sixfeetunderatlanta.com In addition to Fox Sports, and ESPN Zone, Taco Mac is another great place to eat, drink, and enjoy a nice sports atmosphere. When I moved to Atlanta I thought it was a mexican restaurant, but its not, and its one of my favorite places to go. There are several locations in Atlanta, and the one at Lindbergh in Buckhead is next to a club (and the name slips my mind right now!) but it is always popular. I am not a huge club goer anymore, but I do enjoy nice sports bars like the aforementioned places. Good luck, and may you find a great place to party!
