I need to go to Washington DC from Atlanta GA round trip? |
Travel Info I need to go from Atlanta GA to Washington DC round trip by train and find a place to stay for five nights. All on 200 dollor. It's very important, but it's at a time that I'm very low on funds. ANY TIPS, CODES, HIDE AWAYS, ETC Travel Tips I'm sorry sweety, I'm queen of bargain traveling and I can't think of any way you can get here AND find somewhere to stay for 5 days on $200. The only thing I can suggest(and I'm being serious, not sarcastic) is that you get on Greyhound-which is MUCH cheaper Monday-Thursday, which with taxes will run you about $100. If you get your ticket at least 7 days in advance-it'll be cheaper. Now when you get to DC you could find a homeless shelter for a few days(try Traveler's Aid), or try to find a few more bucks and you could stay in one of those cheap motels that'll run you about $125-$135 a week with a kitchenette. Other Travel Tips cheapfares.com has some pretty good flights depending on your departure date and which airport Dulles or BWI I saw a couple as low as 250 roundtrip not gonna happen. even if you hitch-hiked and stayed at the salvation army it would cost over 200 bucks. |
