Travel Info Do you know what is there to do in Columbus, Georgia? Travel Tips Well Atlanta is not to far away In Columbus there is always shopping, museums, volunteer work, minor league baseball games, Others Nothing really. I think most businesses close down around 4 or 5 pm and there is no nightlife. I don't think there are any professional sports, museums or culture at all. Probably only about 5,000 people living there. Muggy and lots of bugs flying into your mouth. not alot really my son is at ft benning right at columbus and i have made a few trips and we stay in the columbus part when we go down there is not much to do really they have shopping malls and movies bowling and alot of soldiers walking around I would hope if you go take the time to go to ft benning its just right there you can go on base and watch the paratroopers jump and watch them It is so cool. and stay at uchee creek campground and marina there on base it is really cool the cabins and hunting fishing the lakes the deer they have pools it is NICE |
