What are some pro's/con's to living in Atlanta?

Travel Tips
Pros:
Plenty of job opportunities
Cheap housing (apartments average less than $700 a month, houses are found in the 100k-300k region)
Safe neighborhoods (especially north of I-20)
Overall low cost of living
Great restaurants (over 8,000)
Home to several good universities (most notably Emory and GA Tech)
A beautiful city (lots of museums, parks, etc.)
Tons of things to do:
-Stone Mountain
-Six flags
-Lake Lanier
-Piedmont Park
-Malls, malls, malls...
-Underground Atlanta
-GA Aquarium (biggest in the world)
-Zoo Atlanta

Cons:
Some areas have questionable crime rates (south of I-20)
Pollen
Summer heat
Traffic
The necessity of having to wear hiking shoes in the airport.
Others
Rush hour traffic is awful. Rest of day is bad also.
Pros: Atlanta is bustling with business, there are job opportunities, it's a beautiful place with loads of things to do and places to go. Cons: The traffic is horrible. Especially during early hours and the hours where people get off of work.

Hope this helped! =]
Pros: There's plenty to do, downtown is kind of cool, we have public transportation and there are plenty of parks.

Cons: Traffic is horrible, the train system breaks down more than it should, house prices are high, crime is up, and right now, police have a tarnished reputation.
I second Dubya.

I would also like to add...
Pros: beautiful and safe suburban neighborhoods, great places to eat, Buckhead, Little Five Points, other quirky ATL neighborhoods, the Braves, Neal Boortz on the radio LIVE, the nearby north Georgia mountains, mostly friendly and helpful natives

Cons: crazy a** drivers, freakin' long traffic reports on the radio 24-7, people's attitudes toward MARTA, increasing crime in Underground ATL at night, lack of appreciation of historical and heritage sites, massive suburban sprawl
pro's
-job market
-housing prices
-variety (in town, suburbs)
- shopping
- things to do (local attractions)

con's
-far from beach
-commute/traffic
-segregation
Pros: Good job opportunities, variety of resturants, all the major artists roll through here for concerts, good shopping, cost of living isnt too bad.

Cons: TRAFFIC IS HORRENDOUS! Seems like it's getting worse by the day. It use to be rush-hour traffic was bad but now it's a parking lot no matter what time of day you get on 85 or 285.
