Travel Info What would your activities entail? for a Couple, in their 20's example: what hotel, midtown downtown, name? day events? night events? places to eat? (I am not looking for links, I am looking for your opinion) Like visiting for day the Art museum, going to Dante鈥檚 for dinner, then to the Fox for the evening? Help me out? Your favorites!? Travel Tips Atlanta History Center High Museum of Art Fernbank Museum Emory University (has a museum w/Egyptian exhibit) Take a tour of Turner Field & watch a Braves game Stone Mountain Park Six Flags Over Georgia White Water Park (related to Six Flags - in Marietta) Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthplace Carter Center Zoo Atlanta & Cyclorama Georgia Aquarium Kennesaw National Battlefield Park Kangaroo Conservation Place (in Dawsonville, GA) Margaret Mitchell House (writer of Gone With The Wind) World of Coca-Cola (I haven't been to it since they renovated) Mall of Georgia (not in Atlanta, it's in Gwinnett County) Atlantic Station (its the new "hot" spot in Midtown, has lots of shops, great restaurants, movie theatre, etc.) Some of my favorite places to eat: Buckhead Diner (Buckhead) Clubhouse (in Buckhead) Treehouse (Midtown) The Vortex (Midtown) Varsity Maggiano's Little Italy (Buckhead, Smyrna & Sandy Springs) The Spotted Dog (over by Fox Theatre - Midtown) Source(s): Live in Atlanta Other Travel Tips u definitly wont run out of things to do in atlanta. the hilton a few blocks from lenox is a great hotel and close to everything. as far as eating goes, the varsity is a city favorite. try and go to the georgia aquarium. its suppose to be one of the best in the world and also they just opened the new coke museum. i havent been but i heard it was cool |
