Does anyone know cool, eclectic places for 17 year olds to check out in atlanta? |
Travel Info were into the music scene and just cool interesting places in general. hang out spots and what not. no historical mumbo jumbo please. places like the vortex is what im looking for, but the vortex is 18 and over. so im out of luck. help is appreciated thanks! Travel Tips Java Monkey in Decatur. Might be too laid-back for you, but you should visit to find out. It's obviously a coffee shop, but sometimes they have live music. They have a light food menu too. You can get a beverage and just hang out for as long as you want. Lots of people go there to read, meet new people, or whatever. You might meet a few cool people your age there. I think it appeals to a lot of age groups (I'm 38). Source(s): www.javamonkeydecatur.com Other Travel Tips The most eclectic place I know is Little Five Points. There are a lot of cool stores and people around. Um, besides that.... there's Midtown, the Landmark theater there shows some indie films sometimes, plus it's really vintage looking. Neighborhoods: Little 5 Points, East Atlanta, Decatur, Virginia Highlands. I think the Masquerade club is all ages (at least sometimes). |
