In your case, given that you are in London, I am guessing that it will be the same procedure as I went through in Birmingham. Basically once you have secured your place at college in Atlanta (you have to apply to them) you get a letter confirming your intentions from your chosen institution. You simply include this with your loan application making sure you fill in the bit on the form correctly where it asks you if you will be studying abroad during the coming academic year.
