Atlanta is huge and traffic is bad so make sure you live work and learn all in the same area. the average commute here in the ATL 1.5 hours Others If you are thinking of studying over there the first thing you need to do is get your place at college. You cannot apply for a visa until you have your college place sorted out. Once you have done that you need to sort out your financial situation. I got my funding through Birmingham LEA and they gave me an extra 1000 pounds on my student loan and 230 pounds towards my plane tickets (i had to buy my tickets first and they gave me a partial refund).
