Has anyone ever been to Helen, GA, especially Black Bear Resort? |
Travel Info I'm on the planning committee for the 2008 family reunion, and my cousins and I want to go there. Black Bear Resort looks most able to suit our needs; however, they have been very unresponsive to our requests for information. Three times we were told they were e-mailing stuff to us, and we never received anything, and last week we were told they were mailing stuff to us, and as of yesterday's mail, it still had not arrived. Does anyone know of another resort in Helen that could accomodate 50-100 people, or has anyone had more positive dealings with Black Bear Resort. Travel Tips heritage and ethinicity has nothing to do with it. I live 20 miles from there and have not heard of it. You you be better to go to Unicoi state park and lodge. Lanier is over rated. Alot of good bars and shopping in Helen. You can also go tubing down the river for cheap. Others heritage and ethinicity has alot to do with the your awaited responses is what i think.
