Do blacks/latinos get along in Atlanta? |
Travel Info I'm asking all of these questions because I am considering making a move to Atlanta & would like to know as much information as I can, before I begin to pursue the move. In California, I see the black/latino relationship is horrible, with alot of fighting & killing going on amongst each other. Is it like that in Atlanta? Are they in separate neighborhoods? Or if they live in the same neighborhoods, do they get along & respect each other? Travel Tips I do watch the local news a lot here and i believe the relationship between black and Latino is not too bad. most of the problems is black on black and Latino on Latino. We do have a fair amount of violence in town. I kid with my wife daily about what the top story is gonna be for the day, a shooting or a fire, And that has nothing to do with race, just a fact. But they do generally have their own separate neighborhoods, and its not too bad. i feel like they do stay in their own areas, and rarely is there an incident between the races. Others i don't live in atlanta, but i want to commend you for asking such a valid question....it is a terrible thing that races are fighting against each other.....really no difference between the religions in the middle east......they are just making a fool of themselves and their races (btw, i'm black) yeah they get alone if u be a friend first they be a friend back to you well how bout u move up this way to nc stand for north carloina and then i get alone with everybody it don't matter what color u is not to me cause im cool with lationo but do u cut people?yea im a black girl i just ask a question? Hasdad62 is DEAD on! The Blacks and Latinos here DO get along with each other, but we DO live in separate neighborhoods though. (I live in the eastern suburb of Lithonia and the majority of the Latinos in Lithonia are Puerto Rican [MOST LIKELY from up North], and we DO get along with them. Most, if not all, of them DO live in the same neighborhoods that we [I'm Black, BTW] live in.) I hope this helps. All large cities have high crime rates, you have that many people in an area you have problems of some sort. |
