Travel Info I want to move near the airport. Which area is closer to the airport? Where can I find an affordable 2 bedroom apartment? Travel Tips All of the above mentioned areas are close to the airport, but are not desireable areas. the closest area to there that is respectable area is in Vinings area of Smyrna. Its about a 15 minute ride to the airport, and some new apartments have been built at the Atlanta Rd. exit. I don't know the name of them but if you want to live somewhere nice, yet inexpensive, that is where i would start. You may also want to check the Newnan area out. Its really starting to develop and its only about 30 min. away. Its a little bit more congested at rush hour, but nice none the less. Hope it helps, and good hunting! It's about half an hour away from downtown. Try this site it's very helpful: http://www.apartments.com/partner/result... Try College Park. It's on the MARTA North/South train line which will take you straight into the airport terminal. Wow way out there...the traffic is horrible..and the area isn't too good. Affordable downtown atlanta? That'll be hard to find unless you plan on living in the ghetto. Downtown atlanta is pretty expensive... |
