I'm looking for a good soundtrack when I travel to Chicago and Atlanta, does anybody have any suggestions? |
Travel Info I want a definitive music filled trip, when I head down to the South and the Midwest. I'm thinking Sinatra when I'm in the windy city and some ZZ Top when I'm in Atlanta, but who knows? Travel Tips ZZ Top is Texas! Allman Brothers (Ramblin Man): Well my father was a gambler down in Georgia, He wound up on the wrong end of a gun. And I was born in the back seat of a Greyhound bus Rollin' down highway 41. Collective Soul, Gnarls Barkley, Gladys Knight n the Pips, (Athens but close.. REM, B-52's: Love Shack - I'm headin' down the Atlanta highway, lookin' for the love getaway ... ), Blind Willie, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Tinsley Ellis, Georgia Satellites, Black Crowes ... Go out on a lymb with Lynyrd Skynyrd for Southern Rock! Source(s): Ninthsnowman - there's no better ridin' tune than Jessica! Other Travel Tips How about the soundtrack to the movie "Chicago" that is a fun one and you can sing along. ZZ top will also be perfect! The best thing it to make a compilation of all your favorite driving songs. such as, La Grange by ZZ top, Low rider, Back in Black, maybe some Aerosmith, or Prince. Try searching on i-tunes under 'road songs' or driving songs' someone has probably already made a list of these. have fun! Old Allman Brothers. Preferably live. The jams go on forever. ;) PS ... Me and Pepper think alike. LOL. :) Pepper ... Whippin' Post, Dreams, or Elizabeth Reed for me. ;) |
