What are some areas in Atlanta that have a lot less crime? |
Travel Info I live in East Point at the moment--someone was just shot in my apartment complex on the 27th. A stray bullet came into a window and hit a man in the side. Because I have two small sons I am concerned about this because we have a ground level apartment and their heads are level with the windows. I am looking to move and I would like to know what areas of Atlanta anda what areas around Atlanta have a low crime rate. Travel Tips First I want to say to all the Atlanta bashers. We have a wonderful city. It is beautiful and great. We actually have a pretty low crime rate compared to most cities. I moved here to get away from violence. I am from Louisiana and here I don't have to watch over my back. So with that being said. Atlanta has bad parts. All cities do. I understand your concern for safety. I live in Dunwoody. We have very low crime up here. It is more expensive, but there are affordable apartments. I live ina very affordable one. Depending on where you work matters more so you don't have to sit in traffic. Each section of Atlanta has great areas. If you would like to email me feel free to do so and I will give you some great recommendations that would be a better fit for you and where the price is right. Others Decab County Hmmm I've always wondered that. I was there this spring and lets just say that the evening news did not paint a very pretty picture. Try out of Atlanta a bit, like Tucker or up in Dunwoody. Lived there a couple of years ago. Good Luck You mean the A-T-L has areas with low crime? Buckhead has a lower crime rate mainly because it is full of upper class people You'll have to move to Atlanta, Iceland. Roswell and Alpharatta are the best but they are expensive - see for youself and follow this link |
