Leaving tomorrow for varnel (Dalton) Georgia we usually take 75 north and i hate it anyone know an old route? |
Travel Info sometimes we take our brother in law home from Dalton and take route 2 and than another one south and we get on 75 of a short time before 85 we're coming from panama city beach (there's too many tourists i have to get outta here or I'll go nuts) we made the trip many times so we know how to get to 85 but if any one know an alternate route I'd love to try it we're usually on 75 for an hour or more and it scares the hell out of me Travel Tips I feel your pain! The bad news, is that there's just no real way to avoid 75 North between Macon and Atlanta. If you check georgia-navigator.com before you leave, it will show you the traffic AND the road/lane closures. If you get through Atlanta and you're still wanting an alternate route - - exit at 75N & Windy Hill Road and head West. You can then take Hwy 41/Cobb parkway ALL the way - - just be prepared for lots of lights! Good luck. Others mapquest.use option avoid highways. Cobb parkway US 41, should take you pretty close, i think. |
