Atlanta apartments?

Travel Info
I'm looking for a nice, no roaches, no rats, very little crime, fairly new property in the Atlanta area. I prefer the North, Northeast or northwest part of town but am willing to go to the southern region if the area is safe. Thus far i have had no luck. All my searches have led to disappointment. Please Help.

Travel Tips
Have you looked at any apartments yet that are nice w/o the bugs and in a good neighborhood? I'm planning on moving to the atlanta area also and have been looking at apartments online some seem nice others arn't as good. There is a website that has ratings and reviews on atlanta apartments and it has comments from people that have rented or management and they tell you how the apts are, you just enter the name of the apt, city and state, and hit go and the ratings and reviews will come up. I think you should check it out, some apartments I looked at I thought were nice and I went on there and past renters said different. the website is www.apartmentratings.com. If you here of any nice apartments in good neighborhoods can you let me know. Thanks I appreciate it.
Others
I lived for a year in the Camelot at Northlake apartments off of I-285 and LaVista Rd. Nice apartments, gated, close to a mall and lots of shopping, convenient to Buckhead & Gwinnett areas. I had a 2-bedroom/2-bath for $950 a month. No security or crime problems that I knew of. This was 2004-2005.
I live off of Powers Ferry Road (North Atlanta - just outside of the Perimeter, in Cobb County) called Wildwood Ridge, I think that Worthing owns/manages it. It is a decent place to live. I haven't had any crime problems, its gated, they just renovated so things look nice. I'd also try looking at some Apartments by Post Properties. Their properties are usually pretty clean, safe, etc.
There are several new communites from which to choose. Try Post properties, like Post Spring. It's around 5 years old. Also Belmont off of I-75 and Windy Hill is only a couple of years old.

You may also want to look into condos. There are many private owners renting out condos these days and you should be able to get a decent deal. I rented one in Smyrna a few years ago named Hillsdale. It is off of Village Parkway near Windy Hill It was the best place I lived before I bought my house, because Condo owners and usually more mature, have fewer children running around, and take better care of their communities.
