Travel Tips

Whereabouts in Atlanta? Traffic sucks, no real rail system, downtown is no comparison to downtown Chicago. Suburbs are similar. Alpharetta is like Naperville or Schaumburg.

I like the weather. It doesn't get as gray as Chicago in the winter -- more trees and such. More rolling terrain. I like hiking up in the north Georgia mountains. It beats Wisconsin any day. I like being closer to the ocean, the gulf, and Florida. Housing is affordable. The people are nice though you find fewer and fewer people actually from the south. Coworkers of mine from the north often express that it's much nicer working with customers in Atlanta than in the northeast or midwest.
