Does it snow in atlanta georgia?

Travel Tips
Well I've been living down here for the past 20 yrs and it used to snow a couple days a year in the late 80s early 90s during the month of January. In March of '93 we had the infamous blizzard that impaired driving conditions and closed schools for an entire. Of late it snows but doesnt stick. I hasnt snowed this year though.
Others
Sometimes, but rarely.
Yeah every now and then. But not much
*Yes but not often.

*The most is once a year. It just takes us a long time to recover since this is a hilly city, we don't use snow tires, and we don't have a multitude of trucks to clear the snow and spread salt.

*Ice problems are more prevalent.
It may 'snow', but rarely does it stick to the ground. Don't even think about bringing your snow skis
yes but only in the winter time so it won't be snowing there if you go now but it is really pretty and i am sure that you wiill love it there i know i do

good luck

ps: i hope you have a good time there!!
I'd say about maybe once a year you'll see snow in Atlanta, although its usually at night and it doesn't stick or stay for too long. If you move up to North Georgia you might have a better chance of seeing some snow.
