Anyone love living in Auckland?

I'm new to the city as well as to NZ and to be honest, am finding it hard to adjust. Finding work opportunities hard to come by, the traffic congestion unbelievable for a small population and property prices for even modest homes pretty steep too. Anyone feel the same? or any good points, ?? pls share, thanks.
