Travel Info Anything fun to do in Auckland, New Zealand? Travel Tips Auckland is a cool city. Go down to the Aquaduct (harbour). There are heaps of great restaurants, bars, pubs, nightclubs, shops and boating museums (America's Cup stuff) which are awesome. Also head to Skycity Casino and go up the Skytower. You can even jump off the top - a bit like controlled bungy jumping. Also, Kelly Tarltons Antartica World is interesting and the penguins are absolutely adorable. Head out of Auckland for some amazing natural beuaty - beaches, mountains, hot springs. Have fun!! Others fly to sydney GOTO THE MOUNTAINS... AMAZING PLACE Have to agree, the most exciting thing you can do in Auckland is leave. I personally loved Long Bay Beach. There is a flying fox hehehehe. I find the natural beauty of the area well worth it. In addition ot Skytower and the great nightlife downtown I would head into the island and do blackwater rafting in glow worm caverns or go to natural hot springs. You can jetboat and bungee jump and tromping through the forests there is awesome. |
