What kind of currency system does New Zealand use? Also, can you provide an example?

It uses bank notes and coins like the rest of the world. It's currency is called the New Zealand Dollar. It is a decimal system with 1 dollar = 100 cents. There are no 1, 2 or (As of today, 3/8/06) 5 cent coins . Cash transactions are now rounded to the nearest 10 cents. Electronic transactions are not rounded.
