Fiance visa it is K1 visa.
First of all American citizen needs to apply for this visa for you. You need to prove that you guys know each other for a while and you are willing to get married. Because once you gonna get fiance visa you have 6 months to cross US border and than you have another 3 months to get married but only with a person that applied for this visa for you (you got name of this person in your passport - so you can't marry anybody else) You can work on this visa but only when you will get an authorization to work - the only way to cross a border JFK NYC. You just need to be aware of a fact that you have only 3 months to get married otherwise you need to live a country. Good luck
