The best way that I've found is via LA in 2 x 12 hours flights. You can go via Singapore or Abu Dabi - but this can be a more broken flight - up to four stops. Have a look on www.expedia.co.uk to assess your options - and then use as a benchmark. Total best flight 26-27 hours Total worst flight 40 plus hours.i don't think so my friend said it takes 12hrs direct About 30 Hrs or more!!! 27hrs Roughly 24 hours in the air. Total time usually about 30 if you go via Far East. Dunno about via the States. I have been about 7 times - marrried in to a NZ based family. I absolutely hate the flying as I'm phobic about it.
