I would say not good. I work in the same industry and would love to live in Austin but I am still in Houston. Austin is primarily a tech town. My best friend moved to Austin (he is a techie) and I tried for 6 months to find an opportunity there with no luck. You might check out San Antonio also - it's not a bad city and is just south of Austin.
