What airport would I fly into to visit a friend in Fort Hood, Texas?

Travel Tips
You should fly into Austin. It may cost a little bet more than flying into Dallas but it is closer to Fort Hood. From Austin all you have to do is get on to I-35 and hit 190 and you will be in Fort Hood. I live in Killeen and I lived in Austin for 19 years. It only takes about a hour from Austin to get to Hood and from Dallas it takes about 2 hours or so, depending on how fast you drive.fort hood has an
airport now...try this

hope it helps.....
Waco is closer to Killeen (Fort Hood) than Austin airport. Waco is about 55-60 miles from Killeen and Austin airport is about 80 miles from Killeen. American Eagle and Continental (commuter planes) fly to Waco, TX.
