You will love 6th Street! There are probably more clubs, bars and pubs than on any street in the US (except New Orleans). Most are attended by people your age - UT is within walking distance so most of the people are in college or college educated.

You can find a club that meet's your personality and meet plenty of people to 'hang out' with. Also check out 4th St!
