Hey texans, where is the house from the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre? Is it still standing? |
Travel Info I realize the movie is fictional. I am wondering where that house from the remake is located and if it is still standing since production wrap-up. In the remake documentary the director says that they found that house exactly the way it was and had to add little in the way of props. Travel Tips I think its outside of Risising star ,TX high way 36, 3 miles east . of the town Others i dont know about the new house, but i know the gas station in the original is found out by possum kingdom lake. I know a dude named kelly bogues on myspace. he has the real screen door from the house! he has an entire myspace page with directions and pics. I know one of the towns is kingsland,tx. and they have moved the house and your also able to take a tour. i am also planning a trip to check it out in the next couple of months.
