Nice restaurant in Austin, TX?

Travel Info
We will be there on our wedding anniversary. Any reccomendations for a nice place to celebrate near downtown?

Travel Tips
Austin has lots of very good restaurants. It's hard to say what would be a good choice for you, without knowing if you like casual or dressy? what kind of food do you like? what kind of atmosphere?

I've been interested in checking out the following upscale restaurant which gets great reviews: Wink. They're on Lamar, in the central part of Austin, not far from downtown. They have a webpage: http://winkrestaurant.com/shell.cfm?id=6...

If you are interested in really, really upscale Mexican cuisine in a gorgeous, hacienda-like setting with amazing art, there's Fonda San Miguel. It's in "old Austin" i.e. not out in the boonies, but it's not downtown. It's expensive but worth it. My favorite. Webpage: http://www.fondasanmiguel.com/

Near downtown, there are a lot of restaurants on South Congress, an area that has gotten extremely trendy in the past few years. Enoteca is a very nice bistro-y type Italian place and upscale, $$, but if you want to do something fancy and $$$, it may not be as fancy as you'd like. I think Enoteca's owners have a more expensive Italian place next door.

Cafe Josie, on West 6th, could be a place to go for a special evening - I have friends who absolutely love it... it's not right downtown but in Old West Austin, nearby.

The other person's recommendations are good, too:

Jeffrey's has been a very nifty (and very expensive) place since the 1970s. I guess when Berkeley was getting Chez Panisse we were getting Jeffrey's. Still gets very good reviews. More on it at http://www.americascuisine.com/austin/je...
It's in Clarksville which is very close to Cafe Josie and not far from Wink.

Green Pastures is a totally Historic Austin kind of thing and a very pretty place, my grandparents would take us to brunch there for special occasions. - I do not know anything about the food, I remember a Sunday buffet with prime rib and silver serving dishes. If you're a foodie it would not be my first choice unless you looked at restaurant reviews; it's more the atmosphere I think. Other Travel Tips
Green Pastures is nice (my parents went there for their 25th anniversary, but I don't think it's really a "traditional" anniversary-type restaurant). It's in Travis Heights, which is not TOO terribly far from downtown these days. Specifically downtown... the Cafe at the Four Seasons is super fancy, but nice (I hear), Ruth's Chris has good steaks, Jeffrey's is supposedly George W. Bush's favorite, my sister and her husband love Trulucks for anniversaries.
