Travel Info Im moving with my parents to Austin Texas,right now I live in a small town in Texas,How do I cope with leaving all my friends?...and is it fun in Austin? Travel Tips You will make so many new friends in Austin. Austin is a great place to live and you will love it unless you like small towns. Just keep in contact with your friends from back home. Others You'll make a lot of friends in Austin. It's a great place! People in Austin are warm and friendly. School friends will be excited to have a "new" person in the mix. You have a chance to form lots of new relationships with great people. Austin is a place to meet people from all walks of life. Some will be just like your friends at home, others will be really different. You will ultimately wonder how you lived without all the great things you have in Austin, vs. a small town. The resources are great. All the fun things to do... you will find people who are nice, down to earth (small town style), but you will find the "good" things about living in a city. Give it some time. You will miss your friends, that's a certainty, but be thankful that you have those friends, and get ready to make lots of great new ones. Extra bonus: everyone loves to visit Austin, so be prepared... they'll be excited to come see you! youll be ok. i live an hour south of austin.. and ppl r all the same.. its texas.. so we're friendly. but theres a lot of gays in austin. lol. or just more than i have in my town.. Austin is a great place..you will like it and I don't think it is all that big..anyway,just write home to your friends...There is alot to do in Austin. It is known for its Rock Bands and Reggae and Rock Festivals. If you are a teen,you will love it. Have fun!! |
