6th St has all kinds of places to hang out at , also Lake Travis is a cool place - UT has a bunch of interesting stuff - there is always a pick up game of football goin on...
You could go to the lake. I know that there are good factory outlets in Round Rock, TX if you like to shop also. You can drive to San Antonio to see the Riverwalk.
The best thing to do in Austin is get in a car and go to San Antonio.
