Laredo is even more SW(138 miles beyond San Antonio) ...on the US/Mexico border on I35. Others Laredo is one. How far southwest..... Texas is a very large state. San Marcos is the closest city southwest of Austin. Buda or Kyle is the closest San Antonio with its Riverwalk, the Alamo, Alamodome and awesome people and restaurants. There are so many towns/communities immediately southwest of the city limits of Austin, it's hard to know which one you want. I suggest looking at a map of Texas, a BIG one.....many maps of Texas are not big enough for them to label every city/town/community. |
