Has anyone ever hiked Enchanted Rock near Austin, TX?

Travel Info
Is it a leisurely trail, or more of a strenuous hike?

Travel Tips
Ratracer has a great point, it really depends on your age/fitness level. Young and out-of-shape, I found it no problem. I had a lot of fun trying to find caves and diving in and climbing out of little chasms and grottos.

It's not the most amazing thing in the world, but it's a fun day with friends. I've heard it's fun to camp there. Not an amazingly beautiful sight, but it's cool, cheap and easy to get to.

Others
It really depends on what shape you are in and of course your age.
My wife and I hiked all through the trails when we were 19 and 20 seemed to be no problem then . When the kids were 9 an 11 .It was a slight challenge but no problem. We went back last year after 35 years of marriage .Well to tell you the truth I have aged and the trails were murder on the knees and feet. If I go back someone will need to pack me LOL.
Yes, Kinda boring. Not really an exciting hike
It's not strenuous. I did it a few years ago, and I was quite out of shape at the time, and I had no trouble. It was very pretty and scenic.
it's a cool place, also check out long horn cavern it's in the area
