Travel Info Is austin far from waco.? Travel Tips Right at 100 miles. It's I-35 all the way, so it goes pretty fast ,if you avoid rush hour. Others its not that far it only takes hmmm... about 30 to 40 minutes to drive not counting traffic Austin is about an hour and a half drive south of Waco, straight down IH 35 Have you checked a map? depending on which part of austin you are heading to and of course traffic along I-35, it should take no more than 2 hours. when i drove between austin and fort worth while i attended UT, waco was the halfway point for me. it was about an hour and a half from waco to the northwest side of austin. if traffic is fine, it is a pretty smooth drive. Waco is on Interstate 35 halfway between Austin and Dallas... about a 2 hour drive from Austin. 90 minutes, in good traffic.....but go when it isn't working hours....it gets crazy down there!! |
