Yes. It is a good university. I think it has between 20,000 and 30,000 students. San Marcos is a good town as far as I know. It's about 25 minutes south of Austin on I-35. You should really check them out, you might like it. http://www.txstate.edu/

It was until it changed it's name from Southwest Texas State University to TSU. They now completely ignored anyone that graduate from SWT. The person responsible for the name change is not even there any more. The city is not very large so the school has always been known as a "suitcase" school meaning that everyone leaves town on the weekends.

Should they have ever changed the name of the school.. no!
