Texas Chainsaw Massacre ? |
Travel Info Is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre a True Story??????? Travel Tips yes and no. there was a man in the 1950's named Ed Gein who lived in Wisconsin who murdered women. He kept their body parts in his house. I believe he used some body parts to make furniture, and he might have worn human skin. He is not only the basis for Leatherface, he is also the basis for Norman Bates from the movie psycho. There was no Hewitt family who murdered teens in texas to turn them into barbecue or homemade stew. hope this helps a little. when i first saw the movies, I looked all of this up on the internet. Others There were people in Texas who killed other people. It wasn't just in Wisconsin; there were some in Texas too. I lived in Texas from the time I was born until a few months ago; I've been to the town where it happened.
